BMI Atlanta held a legal seminar February 27 at Tower Place 100 with special guest entertainment lawyers Donald Woodard (Locke, Lord, Bissell & Liddell, LLP), and Sandra Brown (The Law offices of Sandra L. Brown, P.C.).

Woodard who represents BMI songwriters Young Jeezy and Big Boi of OutKast; and Brown who represents Akon and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony discussed and answered questions regarding the fundamental business and legal principals of management, production and publishing agreements. BMI’s Vice President of Writer/Publisher Relations Atlanta Catherine Brewton moderated the seminar, which was well attended by music and legal enthusiasts.
