Kirkland& Ellis LLP partner Neil S. Hirshman has been chosen as one of therecipients of the International Association of OutsourcingProfessional's  "Member of the Year" award.  Mr. Hirshman was chosen asone of two recipients from the entire IAOP membership of 40,000 membersall across the world.

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, with40,000 corporate, professional, and associate members worldwide, isleading the effort to transform the world of business throughoutsourcing. Their client-side members are, on average, responsible for$60 million per year of outsourcing spending with some overseeingoutsourcing programs in the billions of dollars.

Mr. Hirshman founded the Chicago Chapter of the IAOP in July 2005.Since its founding, the Chapter has held numerous meetings throughoutChicago, with diverse discussions on outsourcing topics such asSarbanes-Oxley, Data Security, Trends in Investing in OutsourcingCompanies, Responding to Security Breaches, and the "OutsourcingDestinations" series, which to date has included information onoutsourcing to Poland, China, Russia, Latin America, the Philippinesand Canada.
