Bryan Cave Opens Office in San Francisco

•  Practice Focuses     updated  2008/03/12 20:59

Another firm has entered the already-saturated San Francisco law firm market. St. Louis-based Bryan Cave, which ranked 61 on last year's Am Law 100 list, announced the firm's San Francisco move on Monday.

With offices in Los Angeles and Irvine, Calif., the new office is the firm's third in California. The firm already has more than 100 attorneys based in the state, some of whom work with San Francisco Bay Area clients.

The firm opened the office with six lawyers -- two partners, an of counsel and three associates. Three of the lawyers are California natives, and three have moved from Kansas City. The office will be led by Lynn McCreary, previously a Kansas City partner. Four of the lawyers are litigators, and two are corporate lawyers.

"Northern California has been a key market, and it's key to our California practice," McCreary said.

The firm has opened offices in Milan and Hamburg in the last year.
